Cadet Life
Cadets of the Moccasin Battalion enjoy a rich tradition of brother- and sisterhood, self-discipline, and excellence in an organization nearing its century mark of cultivating legacy officers. These traditions foster leadership, honor, and connection to the greater military heritage.
While pursuing their individual academic programs, Cadets will simultaneously earn a minor in Military Science. Throughout their journey with Florida Southern’s ROTC Program, Cadets will push the physical limits of their potential. They will study military tactics and techniques, from 17th century colonial conflicts to the World Wars and present-day irregular warfare since the declaration of the Global War on Terrorism. Finally, Cadets will explore the harmony between the art and science of leadership and how to motivate, inspire, and encourage their team to complete any mission.
Cadets also enjoy the qualities of student life and participate in athletics, clubs, fraternities/sororities, and all aspects of campus living.
