The Ashley Gibson Barnett Museum of Art, founded as the Polk Museum of Art in 1966 by a dedicated group of Lakeland, Florida community residents, is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit arts organization and Smithsonian Affiliate accredited by the American Alliance of Museums.
