As a teacher preparation program approved by the Florida Department of Education, the Adult Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education at Florida Southern College utilizes research-based instructional practices to prepare future teachers to positively impact diverse populations of K-6 learners. Completion of this degree satisfies the educational requirements for the baccalaureate degree and initial teacher certification in Florida, including Elementary K-6, ESOL, and Reading endorsements.
