Jeffrey Zines, MLiS

Biography

I am a native of Ohio but grew up in the Orlando area. I spent many years in the United States Air Force, where I was a crew chief (mechanic) on B-52s, C-130s, and KC-135s. The Air Force taught me patience and the importance of maintaining a sense of humor. I am married with two adult children.

Education

• Bachelor’s in history from Florida Southern College
• Master’s in Library & Information Science from San Jose State University

Interests

I am first and foremost a proud Trekkie. If it involves Star Trek, I am there. I am also an “aeronut” and accomplished model aircraft builder, I am learning how to play the guitar, and I love to travel. I am also an avid baseball fan.
