William Bierschenk

Biography

Bill Bierschenk teaches Lean/Six Sigma (LSS), a management methodology that provides organizations with tools to improve the capability of their business processes with the aim of enhancing the quality of products and services and increasing profitability. His approach to teaching LSS is grounded in prior experience in leading major LSS projects in large. complex healthcare organizations. Since 2012, he has taught quality improvement and LSS courses at Florida Southern College and Polk State College. A retired CPA and healthcare finance executive, he has a BBA in Accounting from Baylor University and an MBA-Accounting from Florida Southern College, and multiple certifications in Healthcare Finance and Lean/Six Sigma. His work experience included senior finance positions at M. D. Anderson Hospital, Emory University Hospital and Lakeland Regional Health System.
