Florida Southern partners with several agencies around the world enabling FSC students to complete their graduation requirements abroad!

Please schedule a meeting with the Office of Student Travel by emailing: studyabroad@flsouthern.edu two semesters before the semester before you plan to study abroad. In this meeting, you can explore the study abroad options that meet your college career path and learn about the application process to get cleared academically, socially and financially to study abroad.

Proyecto Español

Proyecto Español

School locations in Alicante and Granada and receives students from more than 30 different countries. It has the highest academic quality accreditation in Spanish teaching awarded by the Instituto Cervantes via the Spanish Foreign Affairs Ministry. Programs are designed for students at beginning, intermediate and advanced levels of Spanish language studies. Opportunities for study are available during the Fall, Spring, and Summer academic sessions. Students must apply through Florida Southern College Student Travel Office.

Harlaxton College

Studies offered in partnership with University of Evansville and courses offered throughout the academic year and summer. Students will be housed in and studying at Harlaxton Manor, a beautiful and historic Elizabethan Manor House just outside of London. Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW)

Located in the heart of Europe with Zurich just next door, Winterthur, Switzerland is a university town home to many Swiss and international companies, the public sector, and important NGOs, with a vibrant cultural setting, a rich mix of events, languages, and diverse geography. ZHAW School of Management and Law has multiple accreditations, including AACSB, and offers a range of courses in business administration, banking and finance, business information technology, and business law. Looking to Study Somewhere FSC Doesn't Travel?

Academic Programs International and American Institute For Foreign Study are connected with institutions in Ireland, Japan, Brazil, Australia and many more. Students may study a variety of majors and disciplines throughout Fall, Spring or Summer depending on where they attend. The Student Travel Office can assist students with the Florida Southern Semester Application while the program applications are available through the individual websites.

Financial Aid and Scholarships

Surprise! Much of your Florida Southern College financial aid may actually be used for a semester or year of study abroad.

Here Are a Few Helpful Things to Keep in Mind:

You are required to schedule a meeting with the Office of Student Travel by emailing: studyabroad@flsouthern.edu two semesters before you plan to study abroad. In this meeting, you can explore the study abroad options that meet your college career path and learn about the application process to get cleared academically, socially and financially to study abroad so that we ensure your credits will transfer back to Florida Southern College.

You are not eligible to study away in the semester in which you anticipate graduation.

  • You must register for the equivalent of at least 12 semester hours abroad in order to receive financial aid.
  • Much of your state- and federal-based financial aid may qualify to cover study abroad programs.
  • It’s possible your FSC-based financial aid (athletic scholarships, ROTC scholarships, Academic Merit Awards, etc.) may not be applied to study abroad.
  • Federal Direct student loans may be available for summer travel; contact the Office of Financial Aid for details.
