Take your education on a destination trip with Florida Southern’s study abroad programs. FSC offers trips to locations in the United States and all over the world for varying lengths of time. Go during your break or go for a whole semester! All trips are faculty-led and are guaranteed to give you an immersive experience in the area you’re visiting.

Take the Trip of a Lifetime

With Florida Southern, you can visit the Mayan ruins in Belize, explore the historical landscape of Spain, venture into the Swiss Alps, experience Paris’ “moveable feast,” and more. You’ll get an immersive experience that will teach you the cultural history of the area, along with field-based experiences that can apply to your degree (depending on the trip).

Asia & Oceania

Visit countries in Asia such as Vietnam and Japan and in the Oceania region such as Australia and New Zealand. Explore the history, culture, art, and architecture of these countries’ major cities.

Caribbean & Latin America

Explore the history, ecosystem, and culture of locations including Costa Rica, the Bahamas, and Belize.

Europe

Get to know key areas in across Europe from early history to present through historic site visits, cultural activities, and guided tours. Locations can include Spain, England, Italy, Switzerland, and more.

Domestic

Experience some of the cultural capitals of America, such as the art and fashion epicenter: New York City. Get an immersive experience in the inner workings of the art world through museum and art house visits and tours.

Expand your global perspectives while paying only a fraction of the cost. Florida Southern’s Junior Journey program is the full-circle result of us investing in you! As a junior or senior, you can enjoy a faculty-led week to two-week excursion during fall, spring, and summer breaks.

By studying abroad, you’ll be broadening and shaping your global perspective as you complete educational and career-preparing experiences. Discipline-specific trips are available.

Earn Credits Toward Your Degree

The credits you receive on your Junior Journey trip go toward your credit requirement for graduation. Trips that are discipline-specific can also fulfill credit requirements for your degree.

The junior journey trip to Greece opened my eyes: we visited historical sites and learned their history, ate traditional meals and learned their significance, and spoke with locals and learned about their culture. FSC made this trip possible and has greatly contributed to the expansion of my world perspective.

Harlaxton College

Studies offered in partnership with University of Evansville and courses offered throughout the academic year and summer. Students will be housed in and studying at Harlaxton Manor, a beautiful and historic Elizabethan Manor House just outside of London. Students must apply through Florida Southern College Student Travel Office.
